Provident Bank Building

Pearl Capitol Management

Renovation of a historic Cincinnati building into office, residential, and ground floor retail.

Overview

Occupying prime real estate in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, the 162,500 square foot Provident Bank Building underwent a complete renovation. It was purchased by Pearl Capital Management, and Schooley Caldwell designed the $38 million transformation. Because it was first built in 1909 as the headquarters of Provident Bank, this almost century-old building received over $3 million in historic tax credits.

The Provident (named to honor its past) houses several floors of office space; 160 apartments, from 540 to 1,000 SF; and ground-floor retail.
