Tyler Young

 

Project Architect

Tyler worked for his family’s crane and rigging business while living in his hometown in New Jersey. There he earned an Associate of Arts before relocating to Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the Ohio State University. During his time at OSU, he worked in the experience design industry constructing exhibits for science and history museums, including the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. He also worked in the Knowlton School of Architecture fabrication lab, operating CNC machines and 3D printers for student and faculty projects. Tyler taught Architectural Graphics and Representation as a Lecturer at OSU after graduation.

Tyler is a registered architect in the state of Ohio. Since beginning his career in architecture, he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from the smallest of renovations and additions to new buildings in excess of 3.5 million square feet.

In his spare time, he can be found practicing welding, blacksmithing, or woodworking, but most likely he is spending time with his young family.
