Senior Associate | Architect | Project Manager

Erin has a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University, as well as a PhD in Education. While working on her Master’s Degree, Erin headed the architectural portion of the 2009 Solar Decathlon Team as the Fabrications Project Manager. This two-year project constructing a 600 square foot net-positive house culminated in a two-week showcase on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. while competing in ten competitions.

Erin is a Project Architect at Schooley Caldwell and is most experienced in civic/cultural, healthcare, and education design. Her past projects include the historic Lonz Winery on Middle Bass Island, a new auditorium at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy, two Veterans Administration outpatient clinics, several envelope projects at The Ohio State University, small projects at COSI, and ADA Restrooms at Rhodes Hall for the Wexner Medical Center. She is currently the Chair of the AIA Columbus Committee on the Environment (COTE).

In her spare time, Erin enjoys playing board games with her family and participating in a number of community projects, including choir, teaching sexuality education, and leading an intergenerational young adult book group. Her doctoral work spanned education and architecture by looking at depictions of houses in children’s picture books.
