Bob’s Retirement

Bob Loversidge faia

Schooley Caldwell’s very own Bob Loversidge is retiring after a remarkable 46-year career.

Bob’s legacy can be defined by stewardship: “the job of supervising or taking care of something, such as an organization or property.” When he talks about stewardship, it’s always in the context of historic preservation. From our perspective, we want you to know that Bob’s role in stewardship is so much more.

Bob is a steward of our firm. He’s created a collaborative culture where employees thrive on doing their best work. Bob is a steward of the profession of architecture. He willingly shares his wisdom and experiences, as he mentors employees and designers, regardless of their years of experience. Bob is a steward of the community. He is one of the founders of the Columbus Landmarks Foundation and has served in leadership roles for countless organizations. His impact knows no bounds!

We’re going to miss him and are thankful he isn't going far. Bob will work with Schooley Caldwell on special projects, continuing his legacy of keeping history alive through the preservation of old buildings. If you need to reach him, his email will remain the same: rloversidge@schooleycaldwell.com.

Bob is leaving Schooley Caldwell in good hands with the leadership team of

  • Sam Rosenthal, AIA, LEED AP, as CEO

  • Keoni Fleming, AIA, LEED AP, as President

  • Melinda Shah, AIA, LEED AP, as COO/Vice President

  • Kalpa Baghasingh, AIA, LEED AP, as Vice President

These four excel at collaboratively managing our firm. They are committed to providing the level of service Schooley Caldwell is known for as our team continues working to preserve the past while designing for a better future.
