We have an immediate opening for a Senior Interior Designer with 7-15 years of experience who enjoys the challenge of working on a wide range of project types.

 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to determine their space needs and performance requirements

  • Translate client interviews to programming documents and conceptual designs

  • Knowledge of furniture and equipment systems that impact spatial configuration including specifications and bidding requirements

  • Develop architectural and furniture finish palettes

  • Lead a variety of design projects from conceptual design through construction

  • Collaborate and coordinate with other members of the design team

  • Participate in professional development and mentorship roles

  • Lead client presentations

  • Participate in marketing efforts

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Interior Design program

  • Familiarity with building and fire codes, environmental concerns, ADA requirements, and industry ‘best practices’ as they pertain to the interior environment

  • NCIDQ certification or commitment to pursuing

  • Previous experience in higher-education, k-12 education, multi-family, hospitality, corporate, or adaptive reuse projects is preferred.

  • Revit experience is a plus, proficiency in another CAD program a minimum
